Fee Structure for the DHSMB

Fee structure for 2025-2026 below:

Uniform Fee

Uniforms will be issued a couple of weeks prior to band camp at the times listed below.  If there is more than one student in the same family, they can be fitted the same night.  Our hope is to have all students fitted during this time, but we will do any make ups the week of band camp.

Monday & Tuesday July 14 & 15    4:00pm-8:00pm  

Freshmen Uniform Fittings

Wednesday & Thursday, July 16 & 17    4:00pm-8:00pm

Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors Uniform Fittings 

Enter through the band room doors across from stadium

There is a fee to help cover cleanings, repairs and replacements, purchase of shirts & other items as well as help pay for band camp staff.  We ask that students bring in their payment at the time of the fitting or the week of band camp (July 28-July 31).  Checks should be made out to: Defiance Band Boosters.  The amounts are as follows: 

Marching Shoes

The marching shoes for instrumentalists are the Drillmaster Shoes in White which will cost approximately $40.  They are to be purchased at Rettig Music Store or on their website: www.rettigmusic.com.  Simply click on “Shop by School”, select “Defiance City Schools” and select the appropriate shoe.  Students tend to get a half size larger than their regular shoe size.

Auxiliary members should consult their advisor for required foot attire.
